Director of two of the most visited Historic Homes in Natchez, Misssissippi. Looking for a qualified, organized, self motivated individual to continue building the guest experience at these two historic properties. Located in Natchez, Mississippi- an absolutely wonderful place to live.
Duties
The Director of Stanton Hall (SH) and Longwood (LW) is responsible for the daily management of the two mansion houses and ensures that all policies are implemented. The daily management includes, but is not limited, to managing all employees of both mansion houses as primary supervisor. Supervision of the staff includes hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluation of all employees every six months. Additionally, the Director is responsible for assuring that all employees are cross trained to support tours of both houses and staff the gifts shops. The Director is responsible for all accounts payable and receivable related to operation of the houses and grounds and for calculating payroll for all employees.
Qualifications
A degree related to hospitality or historic preservation or business management (with a keen interest in history and historic preservation) Proficient in Quickbooks or similar program and willing to learn this accounting system. 2 years experience relative to this positionEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
