The Safety Manager monitors activities and routinely inspects facility operations for compliance with applicable fire, safety and sanitation policies, laws and codes and to detect existing or potential accident and health hazards; report hazards, violations or deficiencies in accordance with company policies and procedures; recommend corrective or preventative measures where indicated. Provides related technical advice to department supervisors.
High school diploma, GED certification or equivalent. Must have a minimum of five years experience in corrections or a related field, which includes experience specific to safety management. One year experience in fire/safety or a safety-related field preferred. Must demonstrate ability to complete any required fire/safety training. A valid driver's license is required. Minimum age requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
